CONSULTATION
Primary care (general) medical consultations for adults and children not requiring specialized care (cough and colds, fever, diarrhea, allergies, normal prenatal, etc)
LABORATORY REQUESTS
Request for diagnostic tests alone will not be accommodated. Lab requests are issued ONLY after a consultation.
INTERPRETATION OF LAB RESULTS
CBC, urinalysis, blood chem, X-ray, or any diagnostic results you have.
PRESCRIPTION
Prescriptions are issued AFTER CONSULTATIONS. Prescription without consultation is not allowed.

We're looking for volunteer doctors, nurses, virtual assistants, soc med managers, and sales personnel. We're practically open to any assistance you can share to our advocacy. With your generosity, you help us bring free telemedicine to people who might otherwise go without care.

SalamatMD was born in March 2020 as OnlineMD as a response to 2 major issues during the covid pandemic -- the mandate to stay home and the congestion of health facilities. OnlineMD aimed to manage minor cases online so patients wouldn't have to go out to seek medical attention. This reduction in the influx of patients to health facilities was also hoped to help in decongestion. The advocacy was a FREE telemedicine service run by 81 volunteers -- doctors, other health professionals, and virtual assistants. In 6 months, we accommodated more than 15,000 consultation requests and discharged more than 6,000 unique patients. We were 100% recommended in 321 reviews.
Eventually, things got better, the doctors went back to their duties and the virtual assistants to their work. However, one fact remained - there were still a lot people who needed medical attention but could not get it for various reasons. The service had to be continued.
In June 2021, Dr. Jason Peñaranda moved the free services to a more secured platform, jaspenmd.com, in anticipation of the implementation of the Universal Health Care law.
In September 2025, the advocacy was formalized and registered as a non-stock, non-profit organization under its new name SalamatMD.
